Do you decorate your rooms the same every Christmas season? I often switch things up, sometimes even the colors of the room.....Above is a photo of our dining room last Christmas. But look below to see the same shelf (before I painted it pink :) in the same corner, but with a very different look, holding some of my vintage ceramic Christmas pieces, in traditional red and green. I'm already thinking of what colors I'll use where, etc. I "mentally" place things and decorate long before I do any physical placement!! :)

I lean toward the red, green (traditional) one, but then I am not as into pink for Christmas.

Becca,
I do the exact same thing. I lay there while I'm watching t.v. and move things around in my head or decide on a whole new look, then I jump up and rearrange everything like a crazy person. lol

Very beautiful! I like the shelf both ways but I like the pink the best. I love the pink dining room. You decorate so beautifully.

Last Christmas someone posted on their blog a pattern for those little cardboard Christmas houses- do you know the ones I mean? Since you want a blog dedicated to Christmas, it would be fun if we could all share a pattern and each make the same house but with our own "spin" on it? Look at this one!!!

I think BH&G had the pattern, but I haven't found it and was hoping you were the one who shared it?

When the kids were little, we'd have two trees in the house. One that had a new theme every year, and one that the kids got to decorate any way they want. I love this blog! It gives me so much inspiration for decorating at Christmas time.
